The obligation to endure (give
us the right to know)
it
comes to earth in rain
drifts
down as fallout
lodges
in soil
floates
from one to another
enters
into what's grown
will
set the earth on fire
it
comes to earth in rain
does
unknown harm
on
those who drink
from
what was once-pure wells
Green shrines (Arabian spring)
(instrumental)
Realms of the soil
without
soil
plants
won't grow
without
plants
no
life will survive
And no birds sing
silent
day, and no birds sing
we
poisoned the air, sickened our cities
silent
spring, and no birds sing
we
poisoned the rivers, brought death to our seas
we
bury our bleeding earth in silence
Indiscriminately from
the skies
(instrumental)
Nature fights back
as
mankind proceeds
towards
his goal of conquest
ey
writes a record of destruction
black
passages
slaughter
massacre
extermination
they
may reached an ocean
of
knowledge
but
ey's not superior the balance of nature

From the
darkest of times, we became...
…we spoke in words
noone understood
but were still able to
communicate the most fabulous of things.
Chords formerly considered
out of tune now rang out in perfect harmony.
Songs never sung
filled the air; stronger, louder, trancing, extatic, more intense
than ever before thought it could be.
Our eyes interpreted our
surroundings in new astonishing ways.
Visions never seen now
came into clear
and those before
visualised appeared in new ways;
we saw the trees behind
the factories, the grass beside the asphalt, the sky above the
concrete, the stars beyond the polluted clouds and so much more;
our new view sorted the
nature above the manmade filth.
And finally.
After lifelong despair.
We saw a future…
We threw our clothes and
made love like never possible in former days;
without expectations
caused by supposed gender belongings or forced upon us by narrow
standardized sexual categories;
in ways no longer
contaminated by poisonous, presupposed
ideals of what love shall be like.
And our naked bodies,
formerly seen as deformed
by societal values; as disfigured by it’s sick inhuman measures; as
abnormal by its awful norms;
formerly a source of
depression and shame; objects for a strive
towards an unattainable goal; a prison in which we are forever
trapped within walls of flesh, skin, fat, blood, bones.
Walls always subject for
change into the latest, vaguely but yet unavoidably, expressed
opinions of what the human body shall be like;
walls that served a
legit reason for suicide, a reason for lifelong suffering and
isolation, for sorrow and estrangement.
We saw it all clear;
saw
thru the lies and deceitful images that had been served to us,
and even if some had
before,
we all now had the
strength to do something about it…
The screams of joy,
the cheering of fulfilled
desires,
the salutes of passion,
the laughs of lived
happiness made the sky shiver, the earth shake and our minds turn
ecstatic
while our former
oppressors turned in their graves.
And we danced under the
same flag made up of every possible colour and decorated with every
thinkable and unthinkable symbols filled with diverse meanings that
didn’t matter.
The former days of
slavery;
under compulsory
economic structures, under oppressive social norms, under destructive
rules and regulations that formed our lives into
unbearable and the earth into uninhabitable.
They where all kept in
mind as warning examples
but
seemed far away from our contemporary existence.
And what little work
needed to be done we all shared;
the fruits were
reaped according to our needs and got sowed according to our
abilities. Without the pressure of
producing any profit
and without
the dread of dealing with unnecessary waste and surplus,
we enjoyed even the
most boring of tasks.
The arousing feeling of
creating our own immediate existence in a sustainable way gave us
strength and joy to carry on.
We felt... dreamt...
lived... enjoyed... sang… danced… cheered… loved…
...Our hearts beat as one.
